Jesse Labovitz

A born-and-raised Torontonian, Jesse Labovitz started playing drums at the tender age of 10.

He later attended the prestigious Glen Gould School while studying with the principal percussionist of The Toronto Symphony, John Rudolph. After joining the hardcore band No Warning in 2002, he played on their second album 'Suffer Survive', and together they toured across Canada, the U.S. and Japan.

Jesse has since become a highly in-demand drummer within the Canadian / American music scene and has toured and recorded with many renowned groups and artists of all genres. When Comeback Kid needed a new drummer in 2014, they asked Jesse to join. He toured 9 months of the year from 2014-2016 with the group.

No Warning have since reunited, signed a deal with E One Canada and their first full-length studio album in a decade, 'Torture Culture', was release to high acclaim in October of 2017.

Jesse joined legendary Canadian band Headstones in 2017. They played a completely sold-out Canadian tour in support of their 2017 album "Little Army", Jesse wrote and performed on his first Headstone album 'People Skills', in 2019 and they performed live to 20,000 people at the Ottawa Blues Festival. They were also nominated for Best Rock Record at the 2020 Juno Awards.

Headstones just released their 10th studio album in October of 2022; the first since off the album 'Tangles' made the top 5 on Canadian Rock Singles charts. Jesse is looking forward to a busy 2023, as he will be touring with No Warning and Headstones, and will also be joining Deez Nutz on their European / UK tour.
